Lessons For All Ages & Abilities

           Why Take Lessons?

The Canadian Ski Instructors' AllianceCanadian Association of Snowboard Instructors At Misery Mountain, we want you to have the best ski experience possible. We offer lessons for kids aged 3+ as well as lessons for teens and adults. If group lessons aren't your thing, you can book a private lesson with one of our certified ski (C.S.I.A.) or snowboarding (C.A.S.I.) instructors. We also offer lessons for schools and large groups. Choose to stay at our local hill or improve your abilities here before heading to the mountains.  Skiing and Snowboarding are excellent sports to help you get in shape, enjoy the great outdoors, and socialize with others.
At the Peace River Ski Hill, we truly believe that "Misery Loves Company."

TIPS FOR AN ENJOYABLE HILL EXPERIENCE!

It’s important to wear the right socks.  Don’t wear two pairs as your boots will not fit properly and you’ll want to still feel your toes! You can bring an extra set though.  A regular pair that you’d wear to try on new shoes is perfect; leave the wool socks in your drawer!

Wear layered clothing.  Not too baggy and not too tight.  You never know what Mother Nature will bring.
Bring extra mitts and toque.
Avoid wearing jeans.  Sweat pants or long johns under your snow pants will help keep those hard working legs warm!

Sunscreen and sunglasses are a smart thing to have.  Snow reflects the sun and can burn you like a hot summers day.
