Lessons For All Ages & Abilities Why Take Lessons?
2009 - 2010 Ski and Snowboard Lesson Rates
* - Lessons are for 1.5 hours. Lift Pass and Equipment rental extra at regular rates if required Private Lesson -
One on One instruction from a certified instructor 2 Day Camp - includes two 1.5 hour lessons with a certified instructor, lift pass and equipment rentals are valid for the entire day of the camp lesson. 3 Day Camp - includes three 1.5 hour lessons with a certified instructor, lift pass and equipment rentals are valid for the entire day of the camp lesson.
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ REGISTRATION: Registration may be completed at Peace River Ski Club, by mail, or phone for all programs at least 48 hours in advance. Register early – enrollment is limited! All Ski School fees must be paid in full upon registration. Ski School programs are not transferable or refundable.
GETTING STARTED: Try to arrive at the Club approximately 1 hour before the first class and ˝ hour each consecutive day. Check in at the general office where you will receive your pass. Go to the rental shop for your equipment if you require it, and then meet at the ski school meeting place, which is out the rental shop door to the left where the ski rack is.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: If you are uncertain whether lessons will proceed on any given day, phone 780 624-4881. Lessons are very seldom canceled due to the weather, skiing is a winter sport and snow and cold can become an anticipated pleasure! Make up Lessons: will be provided if postponed by the Management.
ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTORS: Peace River Ski Club certified instructors are committed to providing a safe enjoyable experience with empathy and encouragement towards their students. At times there may be trained Snow Hosts teaching entry-level lessons. The Ski School recommends 4 year–olds and younger be taught on a one – to – one basis.
TIPS
FOR AN ENJOYABLE HILL EXPERIENCE! It’s important to wear the
right socks. Don’t wear two pairs
as your boots will not fit properly and you’ll want to still feel your toes!
You can bring an extra set though. A
regular pair that you’d wear to try on new shoes is perfect; leave the wool
socks in your drawer!
