2010 – 2011 Ski School Package Welcome to another winter season at Misery Mountain Ski Area. Misery Mountain is proud to provide the Learn to Ski program. “New this year” we will be offering this program to students’ grade 1-12. We hope that you will be planning your Educational Season to include a visit with us over the coming winter season. Skiing and Snowboarding have become one of the few “Family” sports available in our area that the entire family can learn together but still be individual in ability and challenges. Misery Mountain Ski Area is a regional family ski area dedicated to teaching skiing and snowboarding and is recognized as an excellent facility for developing new skiers and riders by management at Marmot Basin in Jasper, Powder King and Sunpeaks in Kamloops. To schedule your day at Misery Mountain Ski Area please call Kate Bigelow, General Manager at (780) 624-4881. The earlier in the season that you schedule your day, the greater your chances are of getting the one you want. Our school programs are booked for Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Arrival between 9:00am and 9:30am is preferred to allow time for equipment rentals and arranging students into class instruction groups. If you are coming from out of town, we can try to work around your schedule. Registration Spreadsheets must be returned to Misery Mountain Ski Area 2 weeks prior to attendance to allow us time to schedule our Certified Instructors.We require a minimum of 50 students to open the ski area for a school day. If your school does not have 50 students we will piggy-back your school up with another small school or if requested (so your school can have us all to yourselves) we will charge you the full price of 50 students. We reserve the right to cancel a school if cancellations drop the total numbers below 50 students for any given day.

note: A non-refundable down payment of $100.00 is
required to confirm your booking. Youth Groups: Group rates are available for groups of 15 or more youth/children (under 18yrs) on regularly scheduled operating days. Great for a Birthday Party or Church Youth Group. For every ten youth or children the hill will provide one complimentary lift pass to be used by a supervisor (must be 18 years of age).

Corporate Groups :Corporate rates are available for groups of 15 or more people on regularly scheduled operating days. Treat your employees to a day of healthy and fun skiing - Great for Team Building!

Ski Hill Rental: Did you ever want to have your own ski area? You can book the whole hill for a private ski party. Bring your own large group or sell tickets for a fundraiser for your club, service group or organizations. Please call 624-4881 for more information.
